I love the process of co-creation. Please contact me to begin the conversation. 

If you already know exactly what you want, fire away! I’m listening. If you’d like my input as well, it would be great if your message were to include as much of the following information as possible:

• The overall board type you’re seeking (fish, log or performance longboard, mid-length, performance egg, mini Simmons, glidey hybrid shortboard, etc) If you’re not sure, try to speak to the rest of the bullet points and we can go from there

• Your height and weight

• Conditions you’d like to ride this board in. Will this be your daily rider or is this for particular wave types/locations? 

• What board you are riding right now in the aforementioned conditions, it’s dimensions and fin setup, it’s pro’s and con’s, and where you’d like to go from here

• What are you working on right now in your surfing?

• Are there any fin setups you are looking to try or would like to revisit?

• The type of glass you’d like — epoxy or poly, tinted or clear, sanded or polished finish

• Anything else that comes to mind, surfers or boards you’ve been watching

  
  
  

Normal response time is about 5 days. I live in rural Costa Rica December through August, so please know that communication will be somewhat sparse at those times.

Please note:

I currently only shape surfboards during my time in Florida — From August 1st through Dec 20th. The rest of the year I am in my happy place in Punta Banco, Costa Rica. If you’re looking for an Urchin Surfboard during the months I am away, I can design your board and then turn it out when I return to the states. Please also take a look at the Inventory page if you’d like one of these babies sooner than later.
